Venlafaxine and weight

Weight gain on venlafaxine? Anyone experiencing this or is this not a thing? I’ve been in it 6months now and gained 20lbs ...

I have been on it for about 6 months. I did gain weight, but that may have been reduced activity due to weather and an injury. Hard to tell. Is that the only change to your life style during this period? Bowel movements? Reduced water drinking? Reduced activity? Ask your doctor if it is a typical side effect.

I am going to schedule time to speak with her today, just started focus on weight and realized timeline was same as starting this but it’s also about time started working from hime due to Covid so yes as you say could be a lot of factors.... a lot of things thanks for the feedback
