Weighted blankets
i've HEARD there was some research that indicated the weights help to reinforce the "swaddle" effect, from being inside the womb...
but i never followed up on that; so i'm not sure it wasn't marketing propaganda....
.
very curious to hear your evaluation!
Hi I got my sister one as an early Xmas gift and she absolutely loves it. She suffers severe anxiety and constantly shakes.she feels more relaxed and sleeps better with it.
My niece has one and uses it all year round when she's anxious, she loves it. Let us know how you get on 🎁
I have had a weighted blanket for about nine months and although you need a couple of nights to get used to it it’s fabulous.
the help me with my panic attacks I have
They are fantastic! I love mine! 😀
It took me a few days to get used to mine but now I love it. Only disadvantage is it's quite thick and so gets very hot underneath, especially in summer.
My wife has one and found it very helpful for her anxiety. My daughter tried it and she loves it too. It helps both of them sleep, and they had trouble sleeping before because of anxiety.
I have 2 and they are magnificent. You're going to love it...
I love mine. It’s 15 pounds (I think it goes up to 20). Was hoping it would help my insomnia but unfortunately that hasn’t panned out. But it does give me a cozy and secure feeling. Get this: my dentist uses one for his patients. I think it’s brilliant especially for those who have a lot of fear going to see the dentist....
They can be very helpful. Add a Dreampad if you can find one as it downloads music from a program for calming and only you can hear it when lay on it. It feels like you are in the womb.
I bought one some weeks ago. I didn't get it for anxiety, I didn't know it was supposed to help with it. I bought it for RLS and it has helped.
My anxiety and depression are as bad as before. Sorry.
