Hello!! I have been on 100 mg of sertraline for a few months now. My psychiatrist has switched me to something else recently, but I haven’t picked up the new medication yet. I had an unusually busy past couple of weeks and I have been out of sertraline for about 5 days and basically stopped taking it “cold Turkey”.
I have been experiencing severe dizziness, nausea, headache, and like unusual exhaustion and difficult to get up and moving.
Is this normal? Anyone have recommendations for managing this until I have a chance to talk to my psychiatrist again?
Thanks ahead of time for any advice or insight!

Yes, that's totally normal. You shouldn't do cold turkey - I've done this accidentally and got very depressed and also suffered those symptoms. I was on vacation and forgot my pills. You need to start taking it again and get with your doctor to discuss a plan to switch medications safely.
