ive been on velafaxine now of 8 years, its worked for me and my general mental health has improved too, my issue is that ive gained over 7 stone all together since starting it, i did have a baby during the 7 years. ive never really been able to lose the 7 stone that i put on since, i follow a healthy lifestyle, im a regular at my gym and do weight training as well. i maybe eat one take out a week, im getting really annoyed with this now and can only put it down to the medication. ive read that it can cause weight gain but never thought like this? i want to come off my medication, but the side effects i get when trying to come off it are horrendous, ive had seizures due to it. can anyone recommend anything at all? im sick to my back teeth of being fat now especially when i put in so much effort at the gym.

There are ways to lose some of that weight but we always have to weigh what is the best for us and the worse. It's better to gain a few pounds than to be depressed. I'm not sure how much "pounds" is. Is that weight? We can help you any way we can and also, I hope to God your doctor is not taking you off cold turkey!!! That is extremely dangerous!!!
