The book "Hope and Help for Your Nerves" by Dr. Claire Weekes is a good choice. Dr. Weekes has videos on YouTube that you can watch for free.

I found online therapy helps for someone to talk to, services like Betterhelp.

Yoga also helps to refocus or move the energy. Search "yoga for depression and anxiety" in YouTube. I did this one today: youtube.com/watch?v=Sxddnug...

You've come to the right place to vent! ;-)

Journal-ing also helps to get feelings and frustrations out and allows you to identify your triggers allowing you to develop strategies to manage your condition.

PM me if you want to discuss outside of the public forum.

SLow mindful abdominal breathing helps to switch from sympathetic to parasympathetic dominance.

1. Sit upright, place a palm on your belly button and feel your belly moving up and down as you breathe. It is important that you breathe into your belly, not your neck. Breathe through the nose only

2. Close your eyes and start inhaling slowly on the count of 8. Through the nose and down the belly. Your arm on the bellybutton should be moving up

3. Exhale slowly, through the nose on count of 8.

4. Repeat this cycle for 5 minutes and you will see improvement fairly quickly. Do this 3 times a day and you will see significant difference.

However I think further healing will be needed if this is something you've suffered from for a long time so perhaps look up a herbalist or naturopath in your area to work with. Drugs don't treat anxieties, they were never meant to.

All of the above work, I have used them for years, meditation is great if you can figure out how to do it, I understand there is help on line. I also love Yoga. I also have a wonderful therapist, have seen one off & on over 30 + years. If it gets really bad, like mine does there is medication that may be of help to you, I take it every day, it helps keep me sane. As on person mentioned journal-ling, I have a stack of journals, it is fun when I am well to go back and read thru them, see how far I have come. Do Not pay attention to those people who do not understand, that is it, they do not understand. That is why I like my therapist, she talk to me, gives me comfort, love and encouragement. Write to us here we offer love, support an big virtual hugs......Sprinkle 1......
