I did not have a psychiatrist for a long time because i was feeling good. But this pandemic has brought it all back in full effect. Is it possible to get a new doctor at this time?

Yes! I have heard that many in the health field are already making telehealth visits available. Basically over video or perhaps just phone. I know it isn’t the same as face to face but it is still helpful at this time, given the social distancing requirements here in the US.

Psychologists here are doing video appointments, insurance is paying for it for me. Find someone, it will help you.

Go on either Health Grades or Therapy Finder sponsored by Psychology Today and put in your zip code and what your looking for Psychiatrist...a whole bunch will pop up. Healthgrades adds ratings etc.

It works I found a great Therapist there. They have Psychiatrist and psychiatric nurses who can prescribe too. Most Psychiatrist prescibe only so you may want therapist too. Make sure you look at reviews.
