Need Suggestion

I have been taking escilatopram for last 15 years. When I try to withdraw this medication, symptoms reappears. I tried many times but coulnot stop taking this medicine. Should i be able to stop consuming it? or for the rest of my life it is continued? Is there any side effects in the long run?

You need to go very very slow with that as you've been on it 15 years. Yes if you don't go slow enough you will regain not symptoms but withdrawal symptoms which are almost the same.. anxiety, increased heartbeat, nausea, dizziness, I suggest you talk with your doctor. It took me 6 months to get off Paxil so don't be too quick.

Sometimes meds do wear off after years and we need a med break under doctor's care.

If it works why come off of it? As to the results of being on it long term I suggest you talk to your Dr. Go on line and search it out. Sprinkle 1.....
