Remeron withdrawal

Has anyone ever withdrawn off of Remeron? I was hospitalized last year after four months of dibilitating nausea. I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, & PTSD. I have been stable on medication for almost a year, but have been wanting to get off the Remeron because of the weight gain & prediabetes. Over 3 months, I weaned down from 30 mg to 7.5, then discontinued. I was fine until day 4, when I woke up nauseous. Now the anxiety, rumination, & what if thinking has kicked in again. I’m wondering if this is just withdrawal & will go away, or if I will have to be on Remeron the rest of my life. No horror stories, please. That just freaks me out even more
