I’ve been sick with a sinus infection and just got put on antibiotics (Amoxicillin). I took off work yesterday and am going back today. I work with special needs kids who have behavioral challenges, so it can be stressful at times. When I get sick I start feeling a little anxious and knowing how work can be has made me feel somewhat disconnected, like im just going through the motions. What has worked for you in getting over this funk?

Good morning. I just finished my two weeks of amoxicillin for a sinus infection. My anxiety is a bit escalated but I keep reminding myself that it will pass. Just think about how strong the children are dealing with their disabilities everyday and still managing to smile and play. Feed off of their strength and build your own. If they can push through then you can too.
