Anyone have success with it. I'm 6 sessions in and have really only had 1 break through moment. Anyone have luck? I see my guy twice a week and really like his approach and look forward to our visits. Please let me know if you'd had successs with it. Thanks.

You need more than a few. They say 16 weeks. At minimum.

CBT takes a while to kick in. You also have to be SUPER consistent with it. I've been doing it for three years and it really has helped to diminish my symptoms. I recently had a setback this week, however, because I'm having a massively bad depressive episode. It doesn't 'cure' you but it does help you to think differently and assist with the ruminations part. I started with a therapist AFTER learning about the method and starting to try it on myself. It's hard but it is worth it. I would definitely recommend sticking with it. It takes a long while to reshape your thoughts after thinking a certain way for a really long time
