Just wanted to know if anyone’s tried Wellbutrin? My Dr just put me on 150mgs xl. SAMSON

Hi,

Am on 100mgs along with Quetiapine/Seroquel and Viibryd with no problems and definite help with a slightly lowered mood. Prior to this I was on Duloxetine/Cymbalta instead of the Viibryd with great success also. Switched for reasons unrelated to the Wellbutrin/bupropion. I use the generic bupropion as do very many people. You might find it gives you some energy. My mom couldn't take it as her main med due to too much energy, more like jitteryness or anxiety...she couldn't sleep very well. I don't get that reaction. Hope all goes well for you!

I take 450 mg. daily (I have a high tolerence & metabolize antidepressants quickly.)

I love it, been on it for decades, and it doesn't have any nasty side-effects.

I have been on Wellbutrin for over a year, and it has been great. I was taking Paxil before, which was a little better for my anxiety/depression, but made me gain weight like crazy. I have a lot fewer side effects with Wellbutrin, and it has worked well for my anxiety.
