Starting up SSRIs - questions

So I started 5mg of Prozac last week (yes I know, super low dosage) and it’s been weird. I have wild mood swings throughout the day up until around 11pm and then I feel “normal” again. I’m thinking that the Prozac may be doing more harm than good at this point.

I’m meeting with my doctor on Wednesday to talk with him about my situation, but wanted to know if anyone else had a similar case?

ssri’s can cause mood swings. It’s best to see your doctor like you are. You might have to wait and see if they go away or try a different ssri. Also tell your doctor if you have an increase in depression or suicidal thoughts. Both of those can increase as well when starting an ssri.
