Was in ER for this. Complex migraine caused by stress. Can also be accompanied by numbness or weakness.

Get a diffuser and get lavender oil. You can also put it on your temples to help relax.

Same here...my anxiety made me persistent that it was a brain tumor. I fought with the ER doctor and made them do a CT scan. I had a migraine for three weeks. After the ER (and numerous doctor visits beforehand) I went back to my doctor and he did a cranial manipulation and bam! Instantly better!

As for the stress...I am extremely tense and knotty in my neck and upper back. I recommend frequent massages, but that can get expensive. I live off of Bengay...muscle relaxing cream.

Ditto to all of this and ibuprofen. It’s the only thing that helps me lately with muscles spasms in my neck and shoulders.

My anxiety has been telling me it’s a brain tumor as well I was going got ask my doctor for a CT scan that way I can tell my mind to shut up and not panic about it

Honestly, the CT didn't help settle my mind. Unfortunately, our local hospital is a joke and most of the staff do not know how to effectively calm patients or show any compassion. I never saw the results of the CT myself, it was only after my doctor performed the cranial that my brain was calmed (only temporarily though...you know anxiety!). Unless you trust you doctor or can see the CT and understand it, it may not help and based on whatever insurance you have may just be an extra cost. Just think about it and by all means if it helps, go for it!! Anything to cease the worry, right!? :)

Hmm I get it maybe I’ll just tell him my symptoms and see what he thinks

I would definitely talk to him about cranial manipulation, it's just a massage for your head pretty much. Ten minutes and I walked out of the office feeling like I just spent the day at a spa! All the pressure in my head was gone and my neck was less tense!

That sounds amazing

You might want to try progressive muscle relaxation. It’s not uncommon to tense up with anxiety.

I seem to hold all my stress and anxiety in my neck and jaw. After several different doctors and 2 years I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Glad I was diagnosed, but that’s all it was a diagnosis. I can’t seem to find a doctor willing to treat it. The diagnosing doctor was an RA doctor and they don’t treat it. Just adds to the chronic anxiety and depression. One more thing I can’t afford to get help with.

I’m sorry to hear that hopefully you will be able to figure it all out 🙂
