I have heard it said many times, ''you hear what you need to hear, every day''....

I met a very elderly gentleman at a bus stop when I was in college sitting on the bus stop bench. I asked him if he was waiting for the bus, and he said no, he just liked talking to the people who 'were' waiting for a bus...then he smiled and said...'if you listen, you can learn something new everyday'.....he was right.
