I suffer from depression and anxiety (had a pretty good day after a few bad weeks). My son also has both (good genes i day with sarcasm!) He has missed a lot of school this year (his firstvin high s hook) due to anxiety and stress and getting him to do homework etc is almost impossible. Last weekend he suffered a pretty serious concussion. He missed almost a full week of school. I know people mean well but one family member is putting the pressure on me to get him back to school and get on top of his grades. Now my anxiety is up and I have been crying. I know the intentions are good but I think people should know I clearly want what is best for him. If it were that easy, I would help him and he would be “fixed.” Arg!

Have you a sturdy tree near by? Tell me what size plastic base ball bat and how many, and I'll try to shove them through the screen of my computer for you to use to wack that tree. Helps to dissipate the anger without going to jail. Some people at times just don't realize your business is not also theirs. Too bad they didn't offer any help.
Hang in there and all you can do is your best.....with the baseball bats. Really, hope you find some help through the school system regarding your son and his education. This may be something you can't do on your own.
