I have had anxiety and depression off and on for the last 40 years. I started a new job which is exacerbating my symptoms, and probably going through perimenopause. I also have irritable bowel syndrome. I was born with a genetic disorder that caused a cleft palate, underbite, hearing loss, and scoliosis.

Wow, you have been through a great deal. I went through meno some years back , and sometimes it can last for over a decade. I tried black kohash the herb that helped with some hot flashes. It can be tiresome! You sound like a real trouper , and someone who is a valued part of the community!

Hello, I can empathize with you being in perimenopause it was a bad time for me. Made me feel crazy and I was depressed, the hormones going crazy and makes one feel the same. Sorry you have had a lot of suffering in your life. You have come to a good place to get support. Have you tried talking to your Dr. are you on med's? Perhaps a therapist would be of help. I know the stress of a new job, be patient with yourself it will get easier, usually I found a transition took about 3 month to settle into. Your are one brave strong person, you probably do not realize how strong you are, my hat is off to you. Be patient with yourself and do not push yourself too hard. Remember you can come here for support and love. I send You Love, peace, and strength Sprinkle 1

p.s. can you join a support group, they are so helpful. Takes away some of the feeling of being alone. In my group they are very kind and supportive. .
