It really depends on what the actual issue that caused the anxiety. I have over the years toiled with addressing my part in the situation as a starting point for recognizing how I will resolve the stress. Sometimes if the issue is between me and another person, I have completely removed myself from having any contact. Not seeing helps me to eliminate the anger or frustration. Other times if it is a situation at work I tend to recognize the reality of the situation by accepting the fact that I still have my job and can take care of myself completely.
If you haven't done so already, get lots of exercise, stay busy, get help (therapy) and possibly medication.
