I was wondering if anyone else goes through manic episodes from their anxiety? The episodes aren't long lasting like bipolar, but maybe a few hours or a day where I can be uncontrollably happy seeming and talking really fast then back to normal.

Manic
No, I have bipolar II disorder and I don't even do what you're describing. I didn't do it all the years before I was diagnosed a year and a half ago, either.
I only mentioned bipolar disorder because often times when I bring up the manic episodes, that's the conclusion people have jumped to. I was just wondering if it could be because of my anxiety. Now, I think it may be a symptom of depression.
Either way, it's an oddity to me. I'd look for the more traditional symptoms of depression and anxiety to help determine if you have either. I have decades of experience with both and there are many symptoms that you can rely on to indicate either one. Usually depression and anxiety are found together, even if you don't see both right away. Best of luck to you.
I have to add to what I said earlier. It's possible for a bipolar person to do exactly what's happening to you. Don't rule out bipolar disorder. There are a number of sites for this disorder where you can learn about this. I learned this just recently at bipolarsupport.org. There's an article about the 12 best sites/blogs for bipolar on the net if you're interested. Just do a search for "bipolar support groups".
