My surgery was 7 weeks ago where I received a replacement mechanic mitral valve. I'm a 36 year old male and I've been prescribed Warfrin, Losartan & Bisoporol. I constantly feel lightheaded or Dizzy. It's mild when I'm still and more intense when I move, including bad head rushes when I stand up. I realise this is lack of oxygen to the brain and should be a matter of low blood pressure but my BP is seemingly normal (114/62). My heart is still high despite the beta blocker (100-110)
Does Warfrin cause these symptoms? Could it be the cocktail of drugs I'm taking?
The feeling makes me not want to walk very far as I'm not balanced correctly.

YES it probably is WARFARIN. I almost died from internal bleeding with Warfarin. And I had NO ENERGY. I couldn't walk just to the restroom. I was light headed and dizzy all the time. I tried to make it...2 months.....then knew I was going to die if I don't get off this drug. Warfarin is used in rat poison. They eat it and then bleed internally to death. So if it kills rats then I figure it can kill me. That's why you have to have IRN levels checked often, too much and you can bleed internally. And it happened to me. I'm on Eliquis and I feel like a new person.
I too had mitral replacement last December and im 34 I'm also having same issue and on warfarin doctor told me I now have vertigo but doesn't know what's causes it as blood pressure is normal I have to take bisoprolol as heart rate still abit high I am seeing vascular team tomorrow to see if warfarin causing my problems i also get numbness in right arm amd leg on movement so don't know if anyone else has that aswel ?
