Different anticoagulants

Riaroxaban and Xarelto are the same thing (Xarelto is the trade name). Pradaxa is different.
Thank you SongofSongs.
Could you tell me in what way is it different?
Not sure, but I'd rather stick to warfarin
I think the tiredness is related to the condition rather than the drugs.
I'm not taking any anticoagulant now....could still win gold for sleeping !☺
I just started XARELTO a week ago. I get the best sleep I have ever had at night in a very long time. BUT, I wake tired, feel extremely energy-less - wanting to crawl back into bed. I am crawling back in - at least twice a day. Even so, I am so exhausted. I had been on Pradaxa, without feeling this tired. Inside of 36 hours on this - I woke to feeling as though my ankles and calves were on fire - a rash and sever hives. Now, I am taking this with a non-drowsy allergy tablet...it is either that or hours of wanting to shred my skin. I have AF, the permanent kind. I have been told, I have to be on this for life. I would like a blood thinner, which lets me live. I see no sense in using a drug to prevent stroke; only to have no life - and just wanting to sleep. What is non-drowsy blood thinner to take that is safe; BUT not warfarin. I have a clotting disorder with my platelets.
