Had the screening and was just emailed that the trial has been paused. No details, but will have to be re-screened when it starts back. If anyone has more details, please share.

ALD Connect just sent out a link to this article that explains the hold. It sounds like it will be on hold for at least six months, since they need to do another mouse experiment.

It seems that there was a disagreement about what clinical Phase the company was considering their study, and so now the FDA has asked for more preclinical/animal data before the human trials carry on.

I was scheduled to fly up yesterday to have my screening today at KKI. So my arrangements were all cancelled. On a positive note, when trials start back up, we should be in phase II.

That’s what I was wondering if they would go ahead and do a longer phase 2 than a short 1b. We will see.
