I do not have any experience with modafinil but you can find many postings about it when you Search!

If you have any brain fog, I would recommend trying it if your doctor will prescribe it.

It helps some/enough for me. It lets my brain work with a lot less fog and more focus. It doesn’t give me any extra energy that I’ve heard some say it does for them. I only take it on days that I know I’ll need more focus. I have recently started drinking caffeinated drinks again. Mainly coffee. I think the combination is wonderful on letting my brain work more clearly. I would definitely say give it a shot. You’ll know with the first dose if is going to help you at all. My neurologist even recommended it and is the one who writes the prescription for it.

I have used the std 200mg since 1998. I tried the ER and could not sleep. I take it around 2PM each day and take a couple of days off every 2 weeks. It helps with fatigue, leg control, and brain fog.

Some people swear by it, and I am inclined to believe their experiences. It did nothing for me whatsoever.

When all is said and done, Modafinil is the best you can get prescribed for fatigue related to our charming little disease.

I have taken it every day (more or less) for six years. Armodafinil is better, like Lyrica is better than Gabapentin.

Believe me when I tell you I have tried the lot for fatigue - Piracetam, Amantadine, SSRI's, Amitryptaline, Anhydrous caffeine. Modafinil works, and you won't get any withdrawal symptoms if you stop, unlike some of the above.

Best of luck getting it prescribed. Can cost an absolute fortune without insurance as well.

I have been recommending this site for years, and I still buy my Modafinil and 4-AP from them:

I made an order the first of November. I have yet to receive my package and I have emailed them twice.

Yeah, I know he had Corona for a long time. I expect your credit card wasn't charged.

I was panicking, mostly about my 4-ap supply. All back now.

Just mail again, they are giving double to make up for all the trouble now.

Charged the card. No meds.
