Cabergoline

Has anyone on here taken cabergoline for any reason? A urologist who is a sexual health specialist just prescribed it to me to help with sexual sensation issues (delayed orgasm), which has definitely become more difficult in recent years. I just figured it was worth a shot to see if anyone has tried it. Thanks!

I asked my neurologist for it years ago. It's prescribed often for Parkinson's.

The sexual thing is off-label. Let us know how you get on with this.

I have read about it a lot for failure to orgasm. Very curious and look forward to anything you can tell us

Please do let us know! I haven't begun taking this medication yet, due to some other minor health concerns that I want to get figured out first.

I did some research and got a prescription for it. Urologist was skeptical. Started about 3 weeks ago and initially seems to work. Data says it takes 4-6 weeks to be effective.

Thank you for sharing. If it's not too personal, would you mind sharing a little more detail about how it has helped you?

Personally, sexual sensation has greatly diminished for me over recent years. I still have no trouble with erections, but it's reaching climax that is very difficult. I take no medications that affect this, so it is purely due to symptoms from AMN. I haven't been able to try this medication yet, for a few reasons, but I plan to within the next few months. Any information you can share would be very helpful.

Can we get an update on your cabergoline after almost a year of taking it? Side effects and outcome?

I never did end up taking this medication, I'm afraid. With COVID happening and too many unknowns in life, it just didn't feel like the right time to mess with something that can have some potentially difficult side effects. I am very open to trying it in the future, when things settle down.

Carbergoline did work for me after about 6 weeks. I think combined with l arginine citruline it is effective in helping with orgasms. My cardiologist said it is safe and the data I read supported it’s use and effectiveness. Hope this help. I have used viagra and cialis and Joe use trimix b
