New MRI

Had me a fresh MRI. Turns out the lesion I had last year (left, frontal lobe), it's gone and disappeared.

And they say there is no God. Cheered me right up.

That's great news! How, why? All a mystery. But this spontaneous improvement is to be celebrated and gives hope to others. I guess the docs had no explanation?

The lesion was just below the surface. Not typical of AMN.

I've read that people with MS, their lesions come and go. I should imagine that if the general population had regular MRI's like us then they'd show all sorts of lesions too.

Either way, good news for me, and indeed for us all.

I think we've found a new motto for those of us with "classic" AMN without cerebral disease who stay up on our MRIs religiously - "Another year, in the clear!"

This is wonderful news.

My son had a "wisp" on the pons region that disappeared as well. Dr. Troy Lund said normal occurrence and not indicative of cALD. So glad for your new MRI!
