I've got a lesion on my brain and it's been stable for the last 2 years and as long as the contrast doesn't show you are ok? I've got my MRI next Wednesday, I have them every 6 months to keep a check on it? Hoping it will still be stable?
If it gets active it will be a fight to prove that a transplant will improve symptoms?

Yeah, Steven. No change. Not that concerned about my brain. Used to be, but it's spasticity and fatigue. That's my battle and I'm taking it on.
I'd like to see other people's brain scans. We can compare.

So, do lesions mean cerebral ALD or are they just part of AMN? Curious as I sit in the waiting room while my 23 year old son gets his first MRI.
Minor lesions are normal and part of having AMN. There is always some brain involvement.

I have lesions also over the past 7 years they have not changed. Last December I was diagnose with diabetes also. Just wandering if any carriers out there also have diabetes
