We ain't eligible for this one, below 17yo only, but this gene therapy trial looks extremely promising. Quite a few genetic diseases have been cured with gene therapy thus far. The technology is marching on and on.

If you have a little boy with ALD, you know what to do. Click the link, give it a go.

For the rest of us, we'll keep waiting. I hope it happens before I cash in my chips.

The whole concept is so alien to me, I find it hard to buy into.. Also messing with genetics has been proven to be a bad idea, didn;t they see Jurassic Park?

Interesting. During my last Min-102 appointment at Stanford, I heard that they will be involved with a clincial trial involving stem cells for MS which as you know our disease strongly mimics.
