4-ap?

So I have now taken both 4-ap and 4-ap-3-meoh. In my experience I have found that the 4-ap barely even helps and in some cases makes my legs heavier and less effective. On the flip side the 4-ap-3-meoh helped quite a bit in overall leg strength and movement. The unfortunate part to this whole equation is I am only able to get 4-ap through my compounding pharmacy. When I ask for , and show them the chemical structure of the 4-ap-3-meoh they are either unfamiliar with it or unwilling to add the 3 methanol to the compound . Thankfully mod4all.com comes to he rescue and is able to get it via Japan. So I am just trying to get some feedback from the community regarding this Med. Hope all is well!!!

And, do you know, I was just about to make a 4-AP-3-MeOH post.

I had a rest from it for about three weeks, had a lot of regular 4-AP to munch away on, and I wasn't that busy.

4-AP-3-MeOH is magic, pure magic. Apart from the fact it allows me to balance/walk, etc, i can do quite fine motor things, like pick things up with my toes.

I sit down a lot lately, now that I am not working so much, and I can stand up and not immediately fall over.

On 4-AP, I would need to prepare to stand up. Stretch my legs, put pressure on my toes, maybe even a quick self-massage of my calf muscles.

On 4-AP-3-MeOH I can lumber to my feet quite well.

Best thing is the balance. I really can do a little dance on 4-AP-3-MeOH.

I keep threatening to, I'll post a video of me before and after 4-AP-3-MeOH.

And no side-effects, not like 4-AP.

I am glad it has a fellow user on here. How many people use it? I asked my neurologist, shrugged his shoulders.

I currently take 4-AP and while it helps me, I must say there are days when it feels as if none of the medications work. No side effects, just nothing.

I am ambulatory, I work out 3 times a week and walk/climb stairs when I'm not in the gym. This is not to say I don't have spasticity or spasms or pain - I have all of this, which is why I'm taking medication! I also take baclofen and have recently been increasing the dosage due to increased spasticity over the last year, but I don't like the drowsiness.

I am interested in 4-ap-3-MeOH. I'm going to make inquiries.

Seifert_09 , what happened in the end? Did you continue with the chemicals?

I have been at my Mum's house for the last month, doing nothing, not even bothering with the 4-AP, but every time I stand up, I fall right over. Started taking 4-AP just to have a shower. Could be very nasty otherwise.

I see that on the CareCure SCI forum they are arranging some sort of bulk buy of 4-AP-3-MeOH, likely to bring the price down. From what I've read, 4-AP-3-MeOH really helps with SCI. Live and learn. I am going to see if I can get in on that.

Monkeybus, my shower chair is one of the best purchases I ever made. It allows me to take a nice shower, even when I'm struggling with balance, fatigue, and sensory problems with my feet. I'd highly recommend one, if you don't have one yet.

Been using one for 20 years, like pre-symptomatic Monkeybus

But, maybe I've always taken the opportunity to sit down ever since.
