Alright, it isn't our disease, but like a lot of stuff I post this is tangentially related.

It all goes to show the power of a high profile acknowledgement. Akin to when Princess Diana held the hand of an AIDS patient. Look a HIV research right now. Billions thrown at that disease.

Off the top of my head, Terri Garr has MS; Roger Daltry, Teenage Cancer Trust; Angelena Jolie, double mastectomy; Mohammed Ali, of course, and Michael J Fox.

You get what I am driving at.
