I took High dose Biotin for 6 months. Did nothing for me.

18-24 months, I gave up too early.

I'll give it another go, but I'm more interested in upregulating my ABCD2, by whatever drug is necessary. Nothing is off the table.

Biotin is water-soluble, so theoretically you can't overdose. Order some and give it a go for yourself.

Isn't the pharmaceutical biotin 300 mg? How can this be achieved over the counter?

Just buy bulk powder. Google purebulk biotin. Cheap. Get a digital scale.
