Propafenone

I have been using flecainide as PIP to stop afib episodes. So far it is working. But could propafenone be used in a similar fashion since they are similar. Has anyone ever done this

MY E P switched me from F to P as soon as I met him and I was on it for about five years. It has its own beta blocking function so does not need additional drugs.

I Know. Thought my experience may still be useful. I did unilaterally use it as PIP later in life but never prescribed as such so should not comment.

Sort of but my maintenance dose was much higher than most peoples' . (3x 300mg daily)
