so this afternoon I decided to do a 30 minute meditation, lovely just what I needed!

got up and my Afib kicked in , charming!

it’s stopped and started twice this afternoon and now I’ve been in a episode for 2 hrs .

I honestly think I’m better if I’m on the move.

Really, sometimes we just can’t win! Hope you’re soon feeling better. It sounds like you might be better with the 2 minute meditate every hour or so. A minute can be a long time when you’re slowing up or counting your breaths.

Annoying because I did the same meditation the day before and felt fab !! Go figure

I think you are right, if that's ever possible with AF 🤣. I have found, backed up by common sense, that moderation is best for the heart, not too much relaxation or stress.

That's just life. Bad luck. My AF started twice recently in my getting up from bed during the night. I suspect the sudden activity from movement did it, and that is similar to what happened in your case.

Mine's the same. Only ever happened in bed asleep, knapping or meditating!! Bizarre. I think the Heart Rate maybe drops the heart over reacts and dips itself into afib?!?

Agreed although I did it the day before and no issues!! Maybe I’ll never figure this out .

Only a small point but when you get up from laying or seated you naturally have a reduction of blood pressure. One occasions this has induced me into AF. One of the techniques is to arise slowly but additionally keep the chin tucked down, just lift it at the very end of getting up. It's something I learned at yoga and might help you in the future. Good luck.
