AFib is the most common cardiac arrhythmia in COVID-19 patients.Best to get the autumn 2024 vaccine, if isn't dangerous for you, as it will be less likely to need a hospital and effects will be less harmful.
Everyone should carry an N95 mask, for indoor gatherings that are occurring or have occurred in the previous 3 hours.
To make it easier and maybe less uncomfortable, a nasal vaccine may be available in the next 12 months.

If you are likely to be especially susceptible to the effects of covid, then I think you are right about the N95 mask - properly fitted - as well as avoiding being close to anyone likely to be suffering. This latter is very difficult.
Fortunately, having had covid already, or having had at least one booster vaccine seems to confer long term protection against severe covid. That said, our friend's daughter suffered severe kidney problems from her covid, despite being fully vaccinated. It is a worrying condition but, luckily, so far, it seems most people get off lightly and cope well with it.
You have to wonder why during the height of covid that heads of state and prime ministers were seen on camera removing masks and mingling , once the news reports were over,,,,,,,,
It is confusing.Even some medical specialists and nurses were ignoring the vaccine and masks (at their peril). Some didn't believe it was in the air for a few hours (aerosol) in poor circulation areas.
Some medical people also still believe it won't effect you if you get it a few times...until they get long Covid.
Another AFib fact is gaining awareness. In the first month after Covid, the risk of getting AFib was 12x greater than for people who did not suffer from Covid.
