Does Metropolo make anyone dizzy?

I am dizzy alot for a few years seem to be worse! I do take xanax but a very low dose!

I was taking 25mg a day and still felt like this, but now they increased it to 50 mg a day, half in the morning and the other half at night!

I take 25mg Metoprolol each morning and night. Have never felt dizzy. Saying that, drugs can affect people differently. A friend takes Digoxin and is fine with it but it made me feel spaced out and weepy. Never would I agree to take that again.Sometimes blood pressure can drop and make you feel dizzy. Have you ever used a machine to see what yours is? Also not drinking enough fluid can make you feel that way.

I am taking 25mg twice a day! I was taking 25 mg a day and still felt like this ! But I am in AFIB all the time so maybe that is doing it!

Yes, metoprolol made me dizzy. I was started at 100 mg, ended up reducing to 12.5 mg because of dizziness.

Since I started taking Metoprolol last Sept I go through mild bouts of dizziness, some light headedness and occasional waves of nausea. I usually take a long, slow deep breath, hold it for 10 seconds and then slowly breathe out all while straightening my posture & that helps me to ward off the "spell". I won't ask the doc to put me on some other med bc I think this is better than the extreme palpitations I was having and I want to give this med more time for me to adjust to it.
