HCI and pepsin and anticoagulants

Just finished a week in Spain with daughter and had terrible heartburn, burping etc. I know I have low stomach acid because of an under active thyroid

Have just ordered some Betaine Hydrochloride with pepsin tablets from Natures Best but wonder if I can take them with an anticoagulant

Any ideas?

Why don't you check with Nature's Best? They have a very good information phone line.

Pharmacy might help, not sure if they advise on natural remedies though…..

let us know if it works. I am on PPI to try to stop heartburn but with little success. And in ACs as well.

I doubt anyone can advise. That drug has a strange history and isn't generally approved for use medically, only as a food supplement.

No, it’s betaine hydrochloride with pepsin. Home from holiday tomorrow, back to small meals, probiotics and hopefully with the capsules no heartburn.
