Twice this week I have felt slightly dizzy and lightheaded. My sodium levels are usually low. I'm waiting to go back for another test. I wonder if this could be causing my symptoms. I feel drained too. Usually, I am fine. It makes me really worried thinking I might have a stroke or heart attack. Maybe my AF makes this happen. Any advice would be welcome.

Light headed.
You have AF. Nuff said. Dont over-think it please.
Lightheadedness maybe caused by low blood pressure, beta blockers at an high dose can sometimes be the cause. Chat to your GP and in the meantime drink plenty of water.
you could just have a virus or nothing much at all…
My sodium’s always low, about 132….normal is 135. there seems to be no reason, I’ve had tests….

Thanks all for your help full replies.
Hello, it could be low blood pressure. Have you changed your diet lately? For me too much olive oil causes low blood pressure.Thierry
hi my hubby is the same. It can come out of nowhere with no warning. Lasts up to half an hour. Light headed and unsteady. He’s had every test known to man! CT and MRI. They did find occasionally when standing his blood pressure dropped but only sometimes. He now has a pacemaker but still gets it on and off. Can go weeks with nothing then seems to be in clusters. He is deaf in one ear and has neck arthritis so could be that or maybe an ear issue. They have no clue! Or the AF of course. Good luck 😊
Reading your post, l have the same problem as your husband and l know for a fact it is my ears that are causing the problem and the neck arthritis contributes to it all. I go a while with nothing and then my ears feel weird and out of sync. My father was the same. Something to do with old age probably.😩
Sounds very familiar yes. One time he said he felt his ears “popped” and then felt lightheaded straight after. He’s had sinus issues for ever but oddly enough they seem to have disappeared to be replaced by this. Hmmm.
Hi
Dizziness and lightheaded.
Could be bang on head (happened to me at a roundabout), too high dosage of meds, low BP, low H/R, dehydrated, lacking nutrients.
Think about what has happened.
