I’ve had hissing in the ears for a long time and AF diagnosed 18 months ago.

I've had AF for around 16 or 17 years and my ear hissing started about 6 months ago when my hearing started to get worse. I'm told the hiss is a form of tinnitus and am waiting for a specialist appointment to investigate my hearing further. Could be months away, but I'll post anything I find out.

I know it sounds obvious but have you tried the olive oil ear drops? They work wonders 👍

My hearing has been dulled by a feeling of Air pressure and hissing like air travel pressure. I think it’s my medication side effect, most likely Bisoprolol or Forusemide. Do others have this?

Yes I do, but thought is related to high blood pressure.

They are researching the association between the Covid vaccine and tinnitus in the US.
