Neck pain

hi, for the last 5 weeks I have a pain on the right side of my neck ( feels like a stiff neck the kind you get from sleeping in a bad position) also going up to the right side of my head at the back and whistling in the ears. It’s 24/7 it’s driving me mad. I am on the blood thinner apixaban just wondering if anybody else have had this problem why in this drug.

I’m on Rivaroxaban and also have neck pain on the right side. I’m thinking it’s just aches and pains after covid last month. No headaches as such but I have tinnitus so permanent sound in my ears. Hope you find a solution.

May I suggest you get checked out by your GP asap, a pain in the neck can be muscular and most likely is and the whistling noise in the ears can be Pulsatile Tittinus, especially if you have high BP but the combination of the two can be an alert for other issues so be wise to get checked out and reassured.

Sorry you are having this problem. I have been on Apixaban since 2011 and to date have had no problems with it. Do hope you get it resolved soon.

hi there sorry to hear your struggling right now I’ve been on apixaban for almost two years and never had anything like what your describing

You should get anything that causes you discomfort or pain checked out mainly for your own peace of mind
