Does anyone know if magnetic wrist bands (for pain relief, such as joints) affect the heart electrical signals.
I have PAF and so far in 5 months have had 2 'all nighters' with visits to A&E. I have taken off my magnetic band but have no way of knowing if it is harmful to my poor old AF heart anyway. I have been enjoying pain free joints because of it and would like to keep wearing it (even if its a placebo!)
Not on meds as yet. Thanks for reading!

Thats interesting, so good that it didnt affect your heart, but bad that it didnt affect your pain...I did find mine helps pain but it may just be wishful thinking from me.
I recall reading that there's no evidence that magnetism will affect heart rhythm (or indeed anything else, as Bob says) but, if you feel a benefit, good for you and keep it on. My late friend swore by his copper bracelet for his rheumatism and lived till his mid 90s!
