Poor circulation day after excercise. Is it common
Hi Katz
I'm just wondering if you've had a blood test to check your thyroid function? I felt like you've described and was putting it down to AF, but it was an underactive thyroid and taking pills to right that gave me my life back.
Jean
Thankyou for the reply Jean.Dont think I have any other symptoms that would back it up so doubt if docs would test me.Would there be any indications in annual blood tests .Done October.Only urea levels higher than normal.Didnt check anything this am .BP or HR and bowled again today .Got things going again but exhausted & dizzy after I got back to apartment.Had to rest.
HR was low for me .Upper 50s.Bp ok.
Going to take it easy for a few days.
Tiredness is one of the main symptoms of an underactive thyroid. I used to feel like each day I only had so much energy and once I'd used that the exhaustion was overwhelming. Honestly, when in the garden weeding I could put the trowel in the ground a few time then was worn out. I doubt it would have been checked for you in an annual blood test.

Wow,A few things could fit but I really don't think docs would test.As I suffer with persistent AFib & waiting for ablation. Also diagnosed with seizures but no EKG done.My seizures take the form of typical Tia's left arm & jaw but I have had everything above the shoulders scanned even things I didn't know I had.
But as infrequent & only 10 mins or less I am trying to get ablation out of the way before considering medication. AF seams to be getting worse and ablation date changed from January to maybe end of Feb even March.
We are in Portugal now for 4 weeks so playing it by ear. Thanks for the info & concern
My sister had hyperthyroidism and she just wanted to sleep all the time until it was treated, so it would seems that any malfunction of the thyroid causes fatigue.
A barrel of laughs then ! Seriously your list shows how important good thyroid function is to overall health as just having a fraction of these symptoms can make life pretty miserable. Pity hypothyroidism isn't taken more seriously. But given 9/10 sufferers are women it's not surprising. Lots will be fobbed off with antidepressants or a menopause diagnosis before they even get a TSH test.
