cryoablation

Well the 18th of this month will be a year since the ablation and the past month has not been kind. My heart is fluttering more and more again and it's not pleasant. I took some potassium which helps a little along with my magnesium and my prescription meds. The past month I have been working more and not sure if that is contributing to these flips or not. It is also bothering me after I eat. Trying to stay calm and hope it passes. Anyone else have this problem this far out?

Was in same boat with the after meals bouts and I added omaprozale/sodium bicarbonate pill daily to combat acid and reflux. What a difference. Some of us are triggered by reflux acid indigestion and or stress which produces acid. No more bouts with afib. Maybe this will help. Mike

Hi there, I had my ablation 4 years ago and occasionally do have bad weeks where I can get high-levels of palpitations, mainly down to stressful situations/anxiety. It doesn't mean the ablation is failing hopefully just life's ups and downs.

Is there any additional stress that might be affecting you at all? I find stress is the only problem for me.

Dave.

I’m 14 months post ablation and haven’t had af since February 🙏 I’m off all meds but I do get flutters occasionally and they are very brief but certainly take the breath away. I then find myself waiting for the onset of af to kick in but so far it hasn’t.

I find if I get any sort of bug then my heart will start letting me know it isn’t happy. But to be fair I have many other issues since the ablation but that’s a whole other story.

Not looking forward to going back to work as im pretty sure the excess workload is going to cause me massive issues but I will have to find out soon.

Good luck
