Goddaughters ablation cancelled again

Cancelled last night,not enough theatre staff.

Poor girl has had so many breakthroughs ( off meds for a week again in readiness) shes now getting very distressed.

Her mummy is on the case today,contacting consultant directly,MP,anyone basically.

this is dreadful. Poor little girl and her family. I feel so much for you all. I despair of the current situation. It really is not good enough. Hope her mum can get through to the consultant and can get things moving for the little girl. So sad to hear of all of this. Best wishes and hugs all round.

That’s absolutely disgusting. Mummy needs to jump up and down today. The shop floor staff will be so frustrated too, and that’s why their leaving in droves. In my experience of working for the nhs they cut and cut staff numbers then there’s no slippage if someone rings in sick or needs emergency leave. Sometimes I would be the only member of the OT team for. 40 bed inpatients mental health unit, where risk ax said no single person working.

Yes staff are lions led by donkeys I think. Hopefully get it done soon. Yes Mummy us very much going for it now . This is 2nd attempt which has bern cancelled citing staff shortages. Xx thank you
