On 8-2-21 I had the following: mitral valve repair, aortic valve repair, ligation of atrial appendage, cryo maze ablation, and they fixed a hole in heart. Things have been going well for the most part on my recovery, although about late October early November I've been noticing some skipped beats when I check my pulse.my cardia has shown on two occasions, normal sinus with pvcs though every other time it shows sinus rythym. I called the doctor and now they want me to wear a monitor for 30 days. Anyone have any thoughts? This is my first post. Thanks!

I had similar procedures (mitral valve repair, appendices, AFablation during surgery).

That was 10 years ago and since then PVCs and PACs. At times thousands a day. I was told

everything is fine. There are some surgery scars in the atria maybe responsible for the ectopics. The ectopics stopped since I'm in persistent asympt. AF (before AFL) four years ago.

Ectopic (or missed beats) are a normal function or the heart and considered benign. Yopur heart has been assaulted so not unusual.
