Hi Please try not to worry too much. Have they told you that you will have chemo? I am just recovering from a lumpectomy for a 3cm breast cancer but I am due to have radiotherapy not chemo. Two years ago I had colon cancer however and after a big operation I had chemotherapy which did not affect my paf medication. Good luck. Jenny
Hi, I'm 67 and I finished breast cancer treatment last year, 6.3cm tumour plus 2 further cancerous areas, so I had mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Please don't worry, they take every precaution, the anaesthetist will be aware of your heart condition and will look after you. I didn't experience any problems during any of my treatments and I'm still stable on my heart meds. I had echocardiogram after chemotherapy and there was no damage. Wishing you all the very best for your treatment.
Please try not to worry. This may not even be cancer, but even if it is it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will need chemo.
I had a mastectomy, after which they grade the cancer. Mine was grade 1/2 which meant that I didn’t need chemo or radiotherapy. Also I had no problems with AF either during or after the surgery.
Might want to google 'Paul Stamets'. He's a Mycologist, mushroom doctor and sells organic, high quality mushrooms.
He tells the story about his elderly mother on YOUTUBE and as a TED Talk. She came to him upset one day and told him she had a vicious lump on her breast.
It was late stages cancer. 3 months to live. While she was undergoing some conventional medical treatment, Stamets gave her his TURKEY TAIL Mushrooms and it killed the cancer. Can't hurt to give it a try. His mushrooms are sold worldwide, I think.
Interesting, thank you for sharing. Certainly worth having a look at. I'm now wondering if these mushrooms cure other ailments. Off to have a look now.
Yes. They all have remarkable healing properties. However, I only trust quality of Stamet's mushrooms. Lion's Mane regenerates nerves, Cordyceps helps with breathing. Reishi has so many benefits too numerous to mention. Turkey Tail for breast cancer and many other benefits. On and on .......
Forty years or so ago I found a lump in my breast. It was like a marble. I had an op to remove it. It was a harmless fibroadenoma. Have you been told it's cancer? It could be lots of other things like a cyst.
It's funny looking back, your memory is somewhat fragmented and you have questions that you will never know the answer to. I had a biopsy and I only remember that because the surgeon who did was complaining about how dirty the ward was. He wasn't really talking to me, just moaning and being ratty. I'm now wondering, if I had a biopsy first, why did they do the operation to remove it.
Hope the biopsy comes back negative and all is well. But if you do need treatment, as others have said, they’ll take good care of you. ❤️ I had biopsies not long ago, no fun! Then had some “stuff” removed. All ended up ok. Had to delay an ablation though, since the breast surgery was more urgent. Sending you good wishes.
Thanks a lot ! I hope for better outcome sure, but if .... I am not pessimistic . My PAF stable with med. So far dr. don’t talk about any ablation.Let forum to know my result.
Appreciate everybody who has responded with advices and good wishes
