So glad to hear that there is still some Pfizer vaccine being used, I was lucky enough to get that one myself and likewise had zero side effects. My wife had the AZ vaccine and it gave her the two days of aches and pains that others have encountered. Not a big price to pay, I suppose, but some of our friends are more sensitive to such things and have reacted horribly. (Maybe psychosomatic?)

Yes the pfizer injection was painless left no marks and i was left with no side effects, i was even beginning to think I hadn’t been given the jab at all 😁. It was actually much later in the evening that there was slight discomfort in the upper arm but thats it. Cannot comment on the oxford vaccine as i know nothing about it. Just wanted to share the experience in case anyone is slightly concerned. I am due an ablation soon and i am sure that is going to be-a much bigger concern for me.

Good to hear, when you say you have PAF may I ask when your last episode was?

I started taking flecanide alongside a beta blocker last September and it took a good six weeks for it to work, was having regular episodes of af about every 3-4 days. Since the flecanide started to work i get about one every 2-3 weeks and the last one about a week ago lasting around 2 hrs.

I had my Pfizer vaccine almost 48 hours ago. No side effects and no afib episodes - just a slightly sore arm for the first 24 hours.

I have paroxysmal afib and after getting Pfizer vaccine had fever for 2 days on and off and 2 nights later had my first afib episode since I started taking a beta blocker. Don't know for sure at this time but feel the vaccine and fevers triggered my 10 hr episode. I was so relieved when I woke up the next morning in normal sinus rhythm thought for first time I was going to have to go to hospital. This was just a few days ago but I I haven't had anymore episodes. I'm guessing it was the vaccine. My Dr. said it could have triggered me.
