Depends what it says but it sounds as if we’re all being contacted and told to stay in. We both got a text and so did the younger, healthier members of my family. It said ... “GOV.UK CORONAVIRUS ALERT. New rules in force now: you must stay at home” etc. Sleep well 💐
If you are referring to the 1.5 million people with serious health issues such as some cancers, having chemotherapy, cystic fibrosis, some organ transplants telling them not to leave their house then this does not apply to people with AF. You need to familiarise yourself with the latest general instructions which are well publicised and have been texted to most people with mobile phones. This information is appears on this forum daily so click on the Featured Comment “Coronavirus - protect yourself and others.
Not yet, have you?
I work on a checkout, sitting target I would say
Are they providing protection, ie masks/gloves/antibacterial wipes etc?
I've not had a letter and have been cleared to work by works occupational health .I work for the NHS as frontline staff .
I have had the letter telling me that I'm high risk and advised to stay home for 12 weeks. I was surprised to get the letter even though I was treated for pancreatic cancer in 2018. My oncologist told me that as it's nearly one year since chemo my immune system should be fine and I've only had one bout of AF since chemo.
No. Just the text from government everyone has had.
No I haven't but am over 70 have asthma, permanent AF, lymphoedema in my lower legs and what feels like carpal tunnel syndrome in my dominant hand, so it's a no-brainer. I shall stay at home until it's all over, however long that is.
