I’m waiting for a cardioversion date but also they want to put a camera up my nose and down to my heart to see what has gone wrong with my last ablation. I’m a bit apprehensive about the camera thing. Anyone had this done please and what was it like ?

This is a procedure that's just being performed at the hospital you attend Redders. Their own design I believe. As you know I had the same procedure. Forum members on here will think you are talking about a TOE, which it isn't.
I can only say I felt so much better after the ablation where they used it on me.

Ok Jean thank you. As you know I’m a right coward and hated it when I had the camera down my throat.
I had it done twice within a few months. The first time under a general anaesthetic before an ablation - knew nothing about it. The second was pre a cardioversion and general anaesthetic and I have to be honest and say that that was most unpleasant. I don't think they used enough numbing spray in my nose, so you could ask for lots of that. Have you been given a date for it yet?

Doesn’t sound much fun Redders, but I had something similar done but for different reasons and it wasn’t too uncomfortable, I think a spray was used to numb the nose.....good luck
Thank you flapjack
