Ablation

I am due to have an ablation on Friday. At the assessment session the nurse said that I should take my Apixaban as usual on Friday but didn't mention anything about the 5mg of Bisoprol which I take each morning. I seem to think that this should maybe be stopped a few days before the ablation. Will try to ring her today but it is difficult to get through....anyone know more about this?

Different EPs have different protocols but most I think prefer the drugs to continue during and after ablation. You do not need to be in AF for the ablation as they can stimulate it in a number of different ways.

I'm having my second ablation on Monday 4th. Was told to continue all medication. I questioned the amiodorone and bisoprolol I'm on and was told to continue both.
