Does anyone know is it normal to have a few skipped beats 24 hrs post ablation?

Entirely normal - your heart has just been zapped.

Not really it is normally many more than a few. 😀

Sounds like things are going well make sure you get a lot of rest.

Things will settle down in time your heart has been through a lot.

Thanks Pete yeah had my ablation yesterday and just been having a few skipped pause beats thanks for all your comments really appricate it

The first day or maybe first couple of days, I didn't have any ectopic beats however beginning about the 3rd day I starting having all kinds of ectopic beats, I do remember having a lot of bigemini and trigemini which is where you have 2 or 3 normal beats followed by one "skipped" beat. Everything gradually got better over the next few weeks to months.

Yeah I hear they take a while to settle down how you feeling now?

It's been almost two years now an I only get the occasional "skipped beat" every once in awhile - but I think that is fairly common for a lot of people even without any heart issues.
