Ok it is the day after and to be honest apart from chest pain which is normal and good drugs which is even better i dont feel too bad.

Prognosis from EP is that because I went in early before the main damage from AF could take hold he was able to do the procedure in 3 1/2 hours instead of the 4 - 5 it normally takes. The procedure is unpleasant but at this time worth it if you were in the same position as I. Dont hold off is my advice. Will repost in a week after the pain and suffering my husband endures looking after me :) cheers

Great to here you so positive Soozie. Don't panic when you get some funnies as these are quite normal. Rest plenty for at least two weeks your husband might even get to enjoy cooking and cleaning. LOL

I am thinking I am in for some crappy food and half a clean. Just long enough to get me out of resting. Hubby has an aversion to both tasks :)

Good time to re-train him then!

You were right Bob. My husband came to pick me up for our 4 hr drive home. I had blacked out several times. Heart racing to start with then into and out of AF for several hours. Hospital would not release me. Troponin wascelevated. Tge gave me magnesium and potassium to relax the heart muscle and bugger me dead it worked a treat. Thankfully information from this site has helped me stay positive and I know this is just a hiccup and tomorrow I will go home.
