Would you be interested in coming along for a cooked breakfast get-together at the Mercure, Rougemont Hotel in Exeter, Devon, EX4 3SP (Phone: 0871 376 9018)?
It's at 11am on Wednesday the 3rd April 2019. Cost of breakfast and coffee £10 per person. Please arrive around 10.30 if possible.
No formal speakers, but just a chance to meet and have a good chat with other people who understand Atrial Fibrillation and the other various odd heart-beats we folk get.
The hotel is right opposite Exeter Central Railway Station in the heart of the town centre. Or for people who may know the town centre and not the railway station, just around the corner from M&S in Queen Street.
Please let me know if you would like to join us, we're a friendly bunch and have 13 people coming at the moment.

I wish I could come to this, I would love to meet everyone. I live in Lincolnshire but go to Exeter lots to visit friends and family so I’m hoping that one time I will get the timing right and be able to come and say hello. 😊
Hi Kelly, we will probably have another get-together at the same place in September/October. If you're serious about joining us I'll arrange the next date as early as I can. Let me know if you are.
Aw that’s lovely Jean, yes I would love to come. I can visit my lovely friends at the same time and see my sister in Cornwall too. Autumn sounds great 😊
I’m sorry I can’t make it this time Jean. Have a great time chewing the cud and putting the world to rights and if possible, come up with a side effect free cure for AF.....if only!
I hope you are keeping well Jean and that the meeting goes well. It is always really good to meet up with people from this amazing forum to get the support that we all need.
I know I would be there is I was! Everything seems to have settled down since the RF ablation but have to go back in six months as I was having some AF episodes in the three months following it. Haven't had any since so fingers crossed!
Would love to come and meet you all (already met Bob last April in Barnstaple!), but Exeter is tad too far from the Isle of Wight, just for a day.....esp with at present, due to our totally unreliable ferries!!
Would love to come but would need a mortgage for the fare and a very early start to get there from Portsmouth.
However, we hope to take delivery of new motorhome in June and plan to extensively visit the South West in the Autumn, so hopefully the next one.
Wish I could attend, but it's a bit far from my hometown of Chico, California, USA. Sounds like it would be fun and interesting to meet and speak with others from the forum. I'll be with you guys in spirit.
I am doing ok thanks Jean apart from having a problem with my left ear which is inflamed so not able to hear and causing a bit of balance issues. Apparently it could take a while to get back to normal (a virus the GP said) so waiting patiently.
Hi Jean. I don't know how I managed to miss your posts but have only just seen this. I really enjoyed the last one so disappointed I can't come. Will definitely do the next one.
